From what I can gather from recent reports, there are going to be a ton of fish caught. Not sure many places in the state are fishing better for numbers.

All that is left now is the waiting. Man I had fun getting as dialed in as I can be for this upcoming tournament on Travis. Lake is super awesome right now and everyone is sure to have a really good time.

Travis always has had a reputation for numbers and yes there are a ton of fish being caught right now; however, the latest version of the "Lake Travis Special" is quite a bit bigger than it has been in years past. The number of shad, perch, and tilapia up shallow is amazing. If we can keep water in the lake for the next couple of years it could end up being a pretty amazing fishery (think Amistad).

Somebody asked on the TTZForum where we will be set up at Pace Bend, as we have in the past we will be in the tournament point area.

If you are launching from Pace Bend you can buy a discounted parking pass from TTZ for $5. If you have a Travis County Park and trailer pass you are good, and if you are launching from another ramp you are good, but if you are launching at Pace Bend save some money and buy your parking pass from TTZ. We will have them available to purchase at registration.

I just spoke with Travis County Parks, anyone that is launching at Pace Bend Saturday morning just tell them at the both you are with TTZ, they will charge you $5 instead of $12. TTZ will then pay the $7 difference at the end of the day. That Brian Booker he's one nice dude, covering that extra $7 per vehicle. They will have somebody in the booth at 4am Saturday morning.

If you are camping overnight Friday that's on you, but TTZ will help pay your entry and launch fee Saturday morning.
