I am going to a friends lake tomorrow that I have just killed it with frogs on before.

But it was always quite a bite later in the year.

You guys think the frog bite is an option just yet?

I like the way this is sounding.

Do you guys slow your presentation down in the early season or is it just trial and error?

In the summer on that lake I did well working the froggy pretty aggressive like.

Good tip.

Super excited about this trip.

Not sure frog will be the best option but in the past they have just destroyed it on that little lake. Hopefully its the same deal.

I dont know if the lake has a lot of frogs so they are in tune to eating frogs or its just that it gets very little pressure or what but they kill a frog there.

Yes, it is happening! I braved Fork yesterday and I caught them DEEP in the backs of creeks and coves and in pockets. 3 of them hit the frog within a second of it hitting the water and most bits happening in less than 2ft it seemed. Had 7 overall on the frog yesterday, smallest a little over 3 lbs, but no giants. I really just worked the frog in several different ways, but just a tad slower than normal.

Been happening for about a month now. We were catching fish on a frog at fork when the water was 56-58 degrees.

I'm gonna find out in the morning. I've been seeing a lot of guys catching them on frogs in the last week.

They'll bite a frog earlier than most people think.

Or so says Mr. Frogman, Dean Rojas.

That would make sense to me.

The water temp warms up a good deal this time of year as the day goes on.

Sounds like the frog bite is a good option.

I will let yall know.
