Hey guys, all of my lakes are too high to fish around NW LA, so I took off over to Fork, and am going to fish blind tomorrow and Friday. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not looking for exact spots, or the secret baits. Maybe just a general overview of what's going on right now with fish patterns, types of water, depth etc.

Thanks

Tons of fish spawning and/or up shallow around vegetation. Swimbaits and flukes along with a Tx rig. Chatterbait also

Here ya go I copied this from my website, just posted last night

As of today we have the much anticipated full moon in March! And with the exception of a pretty hard cold front last weekend the fish have been behaiving accordingly. There are many ways to skin the cat right now and will continue to be for the month of April. Let's start with the obvious, sight fishing, if you can find clear enough water the bed fish are easy to find all over the lake right now. With this full moon this should continue for several more weeks. I've been using the LFT Hyper Freak in white TX rigged and when they're shy i'll simply change to a TX rig LFT Craw Tube in watermelon/chartreuse. The fish that are locked in respond really quick to the Hyper Freak. Another solid pattern in the same areas is the LFT ring fry wacky rigged with a half nail weight in the head. Just fan cast in the same areas you'd bed fish in and make sure you slow down and let this bait get all the way to the bottom and hang on. A 3rd pattern right now, and perhaps the most exciting if you're patient enough, is the big swimbait bite. I'm using a weightless Smashtech Convict on a 10/0 Owner Beast hook in the cleaner water and the Rago Weedless on a 3/8oz. belly weighted Owner Beast Hook in the more stained areas. Fish these baits in the staging areas such as outside edges of flats next to channels or ditches and secondary points leading into spawning areas. These patterns should hold for a while so good luck and if I can help in any way let me know.
