Am I able to get down to the dam release on lake Lewisville? I'd like to take the fly rod out later this week.

The Lake Lewisville dam area is called LLELA. $5 entry fee. Only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Lake Lewisville is above pool level so the Corp of Engimeers is letting about 3000 CFS out making it difficult if not impossible to fish. The state canceled the winter trout stocking due to the high release levels.

I think you should find another body of water to fly fish.

I am pretty sure they've extended their hours-days of operation, but that doesn't change the epic releases.
