I am going to take my 16yr old son and one of his friends camping in the next week or two. We don't have a boat, so we will be bank fishing. I'm wondering if any of you guys can recommend a good place to tent camp with good access to decent bank fishing? Ideally I would like a spot with access to electricity. We are in Prosper and hoping to find something within 2 hours. I was thinking about Eisenhower State Park on Texoma. I haven't been there since I was in high school though, so I don't know how crowded to expect it, and I don't remember what kind of fishing access they have.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wolf Creek Park on Lake Livingston was very nice back in the day when we camped. It may be a ghetto now, and you will need to reserve a spot. Bank fishing and boat rental in the park.
Oh, just remembered a bike ride to a beautiful park just north and east of the casino on 35 in OK. I forgot the name, but it will be nicer and more crowded. It's very popular (Murray?) can't remember.

Thanks, Cast. Ive never been to Livingston before. I will check that out. I have been to Lake Murray in Oklahoma several times. They do have some bike trails around that lake that are very cool. Lake Murray is definitely another option I am thinking about.
Thanks for responding.

I'll just bet from deep in ignorance that PK has some real nice and scenic campgrounds. That lake is beautiful, and right now they're catching them in the spillway.
