What happened to that place? The bite out there has been sucking. Fished all the way to the back of Alley Creek and never got a bite.

Everyone is gonna blame the high water since won't release due to Caddo flooding

I just got back from 4 days there. The bite was tough. Saturday the wind blew hard, my brother and I fished most of the day for 18 dinks. Sunday I didn't even fish because the wind blew harder. I fished yesterday for about 7 hours and had about 8 dinks. I fished for about 2 hours today and gave up because the wind was back again in full force. I was going to come on here and find out if anyone caught them over the last 4 days. If so, I would like to know what I was doing wrong. smile

I did quite a bit of flipping, and got frustrated because there is WAY too much flooded cover. I couldn't figure out any kind of pattern. Just too much timber/bushes in the water.

I probably won't be back until the water gets back down.

Haven't fished it recently but high water would be my guess as to why it fished tough. Should be a really great frog and topwater bite out there come May. Good news is that this should be another healthy spawn.

Went yesterday caught a few most guys are going to the bank but the fish are pulling back due to the water dropping just look at the bank you can see the old water line, we got broke off twice so won't go back without rigging up my braid rod again! The deal is you have to know where the old bank line is and I promise you will have a fun day flipping and don't forget that spinner bait!!

I don't know what I was doing wrong then. I threw the kitchen sink and didn't do jack. I'm about to give up on this puddle of mud and go get on a lake that can produce some fish.

sell your boat. everyone I've talked to out there is catching 30 pound bags and more 3 pounders than you can shake a stick at

Hell I even caught an 8 pounder on 3-14 when things were really messed up. I question your fishing ability. Seriously.
