Guys can you please give me some feedback and comments on the No. 8 Tackle rods.... the price is very affordable but what about quality???

I've handled the candle apple red series and they're a joke. I don't know about the other rods the make but stay away from that one. Very cheap blank,plastic handle "like toy plastic", and guides were not on the spine.

I have found it to be a minimum of 200$ to get a rod wrapped correctly. 300$ if you want it built and epoxied correctly.

I recently purchased 2 of the No. 8 Blackout rods and really like them. They are built well, light weight and well balanced. Hard to beat for $80.

I bought one and really like it, it feels like a $160 rod not an $80 one. I drug an 8 pounder out of thick brush with it Sunday at Ivie. I will buy some more
