Picked one up brand new at cabelas almost 500 off retail. Anyone using one? If so how do you like it? How is the side imaging (I understand only a 7" screen can be difficult) bough the garmin to see how I like it. If I like it I'll move it up front and add a 10-12" Garmin to the console
Any reviews would be appreciated

Im started running Garmin about two weeks ago. The sonar, side/down imaging is pretty wild. The clarity is crazy good. Very user friendly. You will be happy with them. The only negative I have seen thus far is my waypoints from my former graphs (Lowrance) will not transfer. Garmin only works in GPX format. Lowrance uses something different.

Will be my next purchase. My buddy has one and Looking at fish on Christmas tree, bridges, rock piles etc. has never been better. Even on dirtier lakes the image is great.

Went from a Humminbird to Garmin 73SV this year as well. Love the screen clarity and user friendly settings. Very satisfied!
Retired and loving it!
