Believe me my friend, you do not wanna be in a boat going across a lake and fishing this soon after back surgery. Especially when your back is giving you hell. I've had back surgery myself, give your back all the time it needs to heal, if not you may have to do it all over again.. The fish will be there when you get better.. Don't rush it my friend....

Take it slow and easy. When you are better and we both have time I will be calling you up for a day to bring my kids. You will need to be in tiptop shape before then.

Stubby, I got back surgery schedule for April 14. I asked about fishing. Was told not from a boat for over 8 to 12 weeks. The rocking of the boat, wave action could make things not heal right. Plus, can't left nothing heavier then a gallon of milk. You know if you go, that's when the lake record cat will bite! Good luck and just heal up.
