I'm going to make a run to Leon next week and fish Thursday through Sunday. Wondering if anyone had an update on the crappie fishing. I did really well there last year during July visiting my in-laws. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I went across the bridge the other day. Man it looks good! Hopefully you can give us all an update! Good luck!
Take a good look at what you're about to eat. It's not important to know what it is, but it is important to know what it was!

There aren't any crappie in Leon. There was a huge fish kill and the crappie were wiped out!

lol don't listen to theduke the crappie are making there way up so you'll catch them staging right now. Be ready to fish shallow 1-3 ft. some may be back in the 3-15 ft. Moving deeper around structure as the sun gets higher. I would fish with minnows and slip bobbers and let the fish tell you.
