Well, I see a bunch of folks looking at the post.. I'll tell you what my friends have been catching.. Stripers, whites, and black bass on the west side near the dam.. I'm going to be headed closer to the Bandera side and maybe kayak up river a little bit.. I'll keep checking this all week but I hope to hear from some people as well.. I've heard that its been pretty good fishing.. When the wind isn't blowing 25 mph. grin

I have been the last few weekends and boating 40 to 60 a day, this past Sunday caught several 2.5 to 3.5 and. You will catch a bunch 10 to 12 inch fish mixed in, I have been going in the creeks and starting there, fish brush and dish the deeper brush if you see it. Shakey head with a creature bait will work great. The lake is very healthy and it has a lot of fish in it. Good luck and enjoy this great leake

Pretty much all the usual ramps should be good.

As Dholding said - lots of dinks, but they're fun. the stock that the state put in last summer are doing well and biting. This is a good time to take a kid fishing there.

Well, I made a trip over to Medina today. Man those little bass are so pretty with their colorings. I caught 9 dinkers on a watermelon jig; but they do look so fat and healthy. bannana2 Hopefully the lake can keep from drying up and let those little buggers keep on growing. Please fill up farmer

Yep, without any rain in the right area it can drop in a hurry which would be a shame!
