Hello all. New to the forum here and was recommended by Texas Bowhunter.com
On to my dilemma. I only use baitcast reels as that's what I learned to fish with. One of my dad's old fishing buddies took me under his wing and got me on plenty of bass and crappie. He later have me an old abu garcia reels that is now Mia as that was about 25 years ago. I came across a vintage abu garcia reel that I believe is an ambassador 5000 possibly. I would like to get some help identifying as well as knowing what it would take to get it rebuilt and functional again. It would cost me $5 to buy not working. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Two things you need to know
1/Southwest parts in dallas can giveneeded information on your garcia reels.
2. The most important thing is I will give you double on your purchase and also pay postages. PM me if interested

Also get some help in the rod reel section on this forum. Lots of Abu Garcia guys there. Look up Turbo Fred most likely he can be a real big help for ya
