Good info above.
I've always said fly fishing is about tying knots. Hung in tree, hung on bottom, dry dropper set up, change fly, etc, etc, every change is a new knot.

Slightly off topic, but I've become a fan of tippet rings. I've found that it saves my leader (homeade 2 section) and reduces the amount of knots I tie.
