Not much...They may move to a little deeper water for a day or two. But they wont go far...And will be right back! IMO Assuming they are already shallow where you fish...

There was still fish shallow on Palestine Sat. Course the wind blew north all day Sunday. I checked water temp this morning and it's still 61.8 and that's plenty warm for spawning. If they're not shallow, they'll be just a little deeper holding on structure not far away from where they spawn. They could be in 8-18 ft depending on available structure. And if you're fishing creek or river, they might be just off the bank in 5-8 FOW and maybe no structure.

The shallow males in our cove left mid day Saturday and since then I have hooked, and lost one. Bout to put on the waders and check things out...
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
