[quote=Chris B]Notice you don't hear to many people talking about the customer service with the talons. Never had a problem with the talons. And if I did, I can remove and replace them in a few minutes. Don't get me wrong though I'm sure I could be just as happy with power poles also. [/quot
I would imagine Power Pole outsells Talon by a large amount, this would make one believe that there would be more call for customer service, I think Talon is a good product but they are butt ugly and I do not think they will hold as good nor are they as fishermen friendly, in the end if you have either they will come in handy, especially on windy days.

I've got two power poles and would not take anything for them. I have never owned a Talon so I can't comment on them. As long as th pp's continue to perform I doubt that I will ever own a talk.

I have had both. The powerpoles I felt held me better and were not as heavy on the boat, but you have to deal with the hydraulics. The Talons are simple and have the break-over feature, which is cool for storage. At this point I think your best bet is to flip a coin.

Talons hold just as good as power pole, the rough water mode is awesome I have not been in a boat with them, I just figured with a much larger footprint that the poles would hold better, I have been thinking about installing one on my jet boat.

If you fish a lot of marinas as I do, power poles are the way to go. It's easy to get them out of the way. Customer service is great and they are very efficient.
