Hey guys!
I was gonna go try Bastrop State Park this Sunday, since it's close and I cannot really go anywhere an hour away this weekend-- anyone know any good bank spots for cats?
Thanks!!

The lake at Bastrop state park no longer holds water. The dam broke last year and draind the lake!

Bastrop State Park lake never was very good. Suffered for years from cloudiness due to the iron ore rich soils and clays. Go to the adjoining Buescher State Park and fish that lake. It is stocked with catfish, has really big sunfish and really big black bass. I had a black bass suck down a 9" rainbow trout that was on my stringer two years ago. Short tug-of-war later and I got my trout back!
