It seemed like the lake changed every day in the days leading up to the tournament. They were bringing the lake down and the weather conditions changed ALOT from Thursday to Sunday! Congrats to everyone who figured it out today! My best friend makes a trip down from Illinois every year to fish one of the big bass tournaments on Lake Fork. Having fished both the Sealy's and Mega Bass, he chose the Mega Bass again for this year. After losing a Fork special and catching a couple of good unders using a black/blue Thumper on Friday, it was his confidence bait going into this tournament. He ended up catching a solid 2.20 today, and cashed his first check in one of the big bass tournaments. Great experience for both of us, and I know we'll be talking about that fish and the ride into LFM for a long time. Means a whole lot to me to know that one of the lures I built helped him make a bunch of memories this week!

Need they story. Talked to a boat of young guys from AR debating fishing it on Friday who went by as they watched the fish blowing up shad on a point I was fishing. Hope it was them nice guys!

I just hope the two boats (maybe the same twice) I saw back in the SRA restricted area didn't weigh and win. Never got Hull number to file a written complaint...
It was rough, water was off color. Caught one small fish to weigh, missed the money in the first hour by 1/10th of a pound. Looks like if I had waited I could've cashed. O-Well...

You are correct, Fouzman. I do not know. Which is why I am thinking that I could have only put in a provisional protest if I had the numbers. It would hopefully have come up during Polygraph. But I don't know that either.
I don't want to take away from those that cashed a check. Congrats to everyone that was on fish! Even that big over with less than 15 minutes left in the day! WoW!
