I wrote this book to hopefully pay it forward to all the young anglers who might someday be able to say they had the fishing journey of a lifetime.

Got my copy in last week and really enjoyed it! You really had some AMAZING trips on TB... to think that lake did produce and still is producing the numbers and size that it is!! I'll have to put my new graphs to use trying to find some of those old brush piles!!

I know the ones in San Patricio will be there. There were 4 or 5 in front of what was Sepulvados Landing on the south side of San Pat. They were 50 ft in diameter and came from 25 ft all the way to the surface. Looked like giant T-Pees on my old paper graph!
If you have my book you can look at the map I created and it shows the location of them.
If I were there now I would hit the X just west of those where the creek bends up towards the north shore. Depth went from 35-25-20-15-10-5 ft in 50 yards.
The big girls are always there in Feb and Mar. Jig with Spring Lizard Waterdog and Magnum Mudbug Coachdog color (Chartreuse/black back/Orange belly. Caught more than 50 there over several years 7-9 lbs. Won 2 tournaments there.
Looks like there's going to be quite a crowd at my book signing Saturday at Lobbs Toyota in Mckinney. We've got the Team Toyota Truck and a ZX Skeeter, grilled hamburgers and drinks, and a whole lot of fishing stories and information brewing.
