Does anyone have any experience with this boat? Ride, speed, comfort, stable? And what about stump release?

Notes: 56 years old, fish a lot, mostly by myself on Fork. Just spent the last 15 years in, and trading in an 18' Xpress, time for my last boat upgrade.

Will I regret not buying a larger boat? Looking to be comfortable.

I had an older 2002 ZX200. Fished great and I liked the boat. Wish I still had it. I can say if the lake is rough it's not the smoothest riding boat around. Loved how it fished but in rough water it doesn't cut waves or knock them down quite as well as many boats due to how flat the front is. What makes it fish great affects the ride some but if your not set on fishing in rough water it's a great boat. It will handle the rough water but won't be the smoothest ride.

If you are already wondering if a boat will be big enough, you had better go bigger.

If you only fish when the wind is below 15 mph or you are comfortable fishing a protected area that you don't have to run to that Skeeter may be a better fit for you. Smaller is normally more easy to own. It takes less money to maintain.

Good luck with your choice.

Make it you last and go bigger. You will thank me. Although we do not know how you fish. A 19.5 boat can get in places a 21 ft. boat cannot begin to get in and make the crooks and turns needed to get through the stumps. Fish ability here is the key.

You should look at Donald's 2015 ZX225 he has for sale. Prob close to same price as buying a '16. 225 is so much more boat than the 200.

This was 20 minutes from mine today. Was checking out insurance and it sold. My bad for not having it held for me.

Loved this #5 color scheme. Will this black hull show scratches more than a white hull will?

Sharp looking boat and that one will be big enough to get you around in comfort!

I have a ZX200 2010 and really like it. I have owned the boat over 6 years and spent alot hours on the water with it. I do wish a had a bigger boat but I have my reasons. My ZX200 is my first brand new boat/first to ever own a boat experience. I have spent enough time in it to know now what I would want in my second boat. Things like storage, bigger motor, fully loaded or not, which one has the bigger front deck, all this I have written down so I can look for a package the next go around. Coming from an Xpress to a ZX200 might be a good fit for you if it matches some of the items you are looking for that your Xpress did not have. I would take a look at the good qualities your Xpress has and the bad. What boat would make the bad better plus enhance what you already have? I believe when you find that particular boat, then you have found the boat that you will have a hard time parting with.

I also bought a zx200 2010 new and love it. For the price it was my best fit. If I had it to do over again I would have just put on poles and bigger electronics out the door instead of having to wait till later.

I've been through hell and back with it and it keeps going
Fishes great and may not be the best rough water boat will get you through anything out there
Been from falcon to Texoma in it and never felt un safe

You are absolutely out of your mind. Every wave you hit on a Zx9 will make it sound like the boat is gonna break into pieces.
