Well me and the boys there's four of them,'are at Whitney for spring break. We fish pretty hard yesterday and only got four fish. well I'm grateful we did not get skunked I sure would like to put them on more fish. I have a boat and I'm willing to catch bait fish or do whatever I have to do in order for that to happen . If any one could give me a few pointers as far as patterns or really any advice at all would help tremendously it would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much for

Same boat here......headed down there tomorrow in hopes to put momma and kids on more action than we are seeing on EM. Any ramp you would suggest launching at or any other helpful info would be appreciated if you dont mind sharing.

Geez, 25-30mph winds expected for tomorrow. Makes for a tough decision to make the drive down there at 5am.

25-30 mph winds gonna make whitney rough! With it being a north wind, you might be able to fish in front of the state park. Getting there and back might be interesting. If you can get there and hold position, you can find the sandies in 30 ft of water suspended around 20-25 ft. We caught them on RSR chrome and chartruese slabs with a white grub about 12 inches above it.

Whats the best ramp to launch from if planning on fishing the from the State Park down to the dam? Planning on getting down there around 0630-0700 and all reports indicate that around that time, wind should be between 18-20mph.

Brutal. That's what Whitney was today. Water clear, 3' or so visibility, 58*, but the wind blew us around quite a bit. Only saw a couple more boats which appeared to be guides. Big 'glass CCs trolling umbrellas rigs in from of the state park. Launch there proved to be a mistake due to the wind. Love the lake, just was a BEATDOWN today fighting the wind with a stick TM.

Sorry to hear your day was rough. Whitney gets rough with either a north or south wind. At least you got out today.
