Gonna hit the lake side of the dam tomorrow, round' 6 am! Wish me luck, will report when I get back!
Should the cats be good with this cold front/weather that just came in? Glad I couldn't go today, it was super windy!
I'll be fishin from the bank with a friend, if anyone else will be nearby!

My friends bailed due to the cold, so I just hit Bastrop with another friend-- didn't do well at all, nor did anyone else around us-- Wonder how Granger was!

I went yesterday morning. Fished the wind blown shore as long as I could, it was very rough! I used cut shad that I netted by Wilson fox boat ramp. Did some drifting also but no luck. I had some punch bait in the boat but thought the cut shad would have done well. Next time I think one pole will have some punch bait on it.

I always have a few rods baited with punch bait and a few with shad. That helps me see what's working for that day. I love those days when it all works. Well be out in the boat Saturday. I figure the lake will be busy with Easter weekend.
