Picked up a Blue Wave from North Texas Marine, and headed straight to Lewisville. Ran into an old friend with Downwind Guide Service as I was putting in at the ramp. He jumped in the boat with me to take it out for the first time. After running across the lake and getting a good feel for her, we stopped and fished. Caught a mixture of hybrids and sand bass, they were holding tight to the bottom, 18 ft, water temp 63. In and out of the water in 2 hours with 25 fish is a good way to break in a new boat. If you want to catch fish, give Kevin a call with Down Wind Guide Service.

Congratulations on the new boat. Post a picture of it. We love to see new boats.

Congratulations! What a great way to break in a new boat. I hope the boat gets a lot more fish slime, scales and blood on it.

Going back out tomorrow, I'll take some pictures and try to post them. Haven't quite figured out how to post them yet.

The Blue Wave 2000 Pure Bay sure is a nice ride compared to my previous boat.
