The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our second tournament of 2016 on Saturday March 12th at Cypress Springs Lake. It was supposed to rain on us but it only sprinkled. The lake had flooded during the week but the water was falling and the fishing did not seem to be affected by it at all! Another huge turnout of 44 boats came out to play and 40 of them brought fish to the scales and 29 of the 40 weighed 5 fish limits! When all was said and done the team of Thomas Ross and Chris Winter sacked up 21.90 pounds to take the win. Bobby Graves and Robert Hitt brought the big fish to the scales of 9.02. Cypress showed us what she was capable of! Here are full results and pictures.

Cameron Laing and Patrick Sharp had a good day with 5 for 12.81



Birthday Boy Jerry Brown and Tony Schnurr showed us the Pinto still knows where fish are on Cypress with a limit for 13.96 and a top 10 finish



The other Bunch boys, Howard and Randy finished 8th with 5 for 14.62



Matt Prior and Richard Cisnero finished seventh with a great bag of 15.53, anchored by a 6.67 tank



Bobby Graves and Robert Hitt weighed in just 3 fish, but it's headline news when one of them is big bass of the event at 9.02!

Here are your money teams. Finishing 6th with 5 for 15.74 with a 7.29 kicker were Matt Jackson and Simpson Rushing.



There was .22 pounds separating 5th and 3rd. Chris Atkinson and myself finished 5th with 5 for 16.23



Finishing 4th with 5 for 16.30 were Jason Hunnicutt and Travis Reaves. They had a 5.53 kicker



3rd place went to Joe Ruiz and Paul Villarreal who weighed 5 for 16.45



Finishing second with an incredible bag of 5 for 21.53 were Josh Hughs and Ryan Green. Great job guys!



Big fish paid two places and here was their anchor fish. She weighed 8.78. She looks enormous!



Here are your winners. Weighing 5 for 21.90 were Thomas Ross and Chris Winter. Congratulations guys!



Their kicker weighed 7.70. Lots of big fish weighed in!

It's the annual RHBC Open next Saturday March 26th on Lake Ray Hubbard. We are launching from Chandlers Landing and fishing from 7:00-3:00 Registration starts at 5:30AM.
