Have any of you used this product? I live in north Texas and fish in LOTS of texas ! Hoping this device would help me to control motor at max speed. Any thoughts would be helpful...

I've got one and it does help control steering. I have a 36V MortorGuide and at high speeds it was tough to control. This helped quite a bit. I have noticed there is a fine line you have to adjust to so it helps control the steering but does not make it too hard to steer (if that makes sense).
