The greatest thing about these little hybrid yaks is that they are great to fish in.

Really great workmanship!

You can tell when someone is a really serious, dedicated woodworker by the number of clamps they have . . . and I see a lot of them in the first photo! Brad

Carpet? Oh, no! It's a....Bass Boat! Does the wrap go on after the varnish??? Hahaha!!!

Seriously, Don, stop being stingy with the pics! Show us a little love! It's a great looking boat, and we know it's a labor of love.

On another subject, I will be in Port Arthur sometime near the end of March to look over my parents old house, and I was thinking of paying you 2 a visit in your new digs. I will get in touch with you when I finalize the date.

I am now tearing the carpet out and getting new carpet to install. I just could not leave it, it looked hideous when I did the silicone caulking.
I have never had so many setbacks as I have experienced with this boat, but I am determined.

I hit these kinds of speed-bumps regularly. I have come to think of them as " Backing up for a running start "

Give me a shout when you get a minute. Call before you buy more carpet I may have something you will like for the boat.

I PM'd you my number

Carver, didn't get the PM.
But, the carpet has been replaced and everything it done except the depth finder and the shinny finish.
I will be handing this little baby to Ryan Evans soon and he will be auctioning it off at the Texas Music Throwdown.

No problem.

Your build came out great I know first hand how much work that is and really admire your talent and generosity.

Big Kudos, Phill
