Some have been catching Crappie in the evenings. Who knows what this cooler weather will do to them.

It was BUSY the other night when I went to paddle around. 3 other kayaks and 2 boats in the same cove, no one looked to be catching crappie.

Have you tried to go up the creek from Twin Groves? I'm doing that one night next week. Gotta be crappie, or at least sandies in there!

Sister grove?

I walked down it from up north. When I went a few weeks ago it wasn't too far down stream that the creek got pretty shallow and stagnant. Might be worth checking out from the lake though.

Yes, Sister Grove Creek. I've been wanting to get in there since the water came up, just never did. I stopped in there for a quick test last week after working on my mirage drive and talked to some folks that were killing cats up there. Just got me itching to go up in the creek now that the temps are up a little. Surely some of the crappie swim past those rocks along 380!
