Got on the crappie this afternoon. We're hitting just about everything I chunked at em. Just couldn't get them hooked solid cry Lost a mess of fish.

White Hot, Texas Toast and Spring Grasshoppa were there favorites today.

Black Bass are like rabid dogs in the shallows also bang

Had a blast on the Kayak! Guess 3 keepers is better than no keepers fish

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

Can launch a boat rite now. It's just getting your boat to the waters edge. Haven't been over to the metal grate ramp be the EQ channel this year.

Used to catch a lot of channel cat in the EQ channel when it first opened. That was a while ago.

Caught a 42 lb. flathead at the spillway into 'Nastywater' along with a lot of crappie. Used shad for bait. Back in the 90's.

Do they still have big Red Drum come into the hot water channel at Nastywater or does Texas Utilities even own or generate down there still?
