Early Spring Fishing report for Richland Chambers Lake.
It's time to come fishing, this lake has finally turned on.
I haven't seen any schooling action as I write this but by the time you read this the fish will probably actually be schooling.
Today the sandbass were holding at 20 feet and ready to bite.
I'm using the double sandbass rig and jigging the slab at them as the lure falls to the bottom. The fish are attacking it on the way down, almost a double hookup every time you drop your bait.
This is what sandbass is famous for eager to bite and easy to catch.
Also be rigged with sassy shad and rattle traps so when they are chasing bait you can cast into the school and feel the pull of a hard fighting game fish.
Starting at safe light most days and fishing until 11.00 or 11:30.
Come fishing now!
