With a big tournament this weekend figure no one wants to share much, but as a westerner who makes a trip per year I'd love any help finding slot fish! Launching from FM17 or LFM.

All the major spawning creeks are loaded with slots on beds. Weightless flukes fished around the grass and swim baits will get you bit. Once you locate fish on beds fish the flukes slow in the area. Good luck sir

Zach knows of what he speaks... Take to heart!

Spawning Creeks are mostly labeled such on the map, but the big ones are:

Glade, Running, Caney, Birch, Penson... Basically any of the larger northern creeks with large flats running out from the creek channel in 2-8 foot.

I haven't fished it in several weeks, so I don't have any. But, that's about as good as saying fish north of the dam. Point is, if you can't help a fellow fisherman out, then don't reply with that kind of remark. But just like you chiming in, that's why allot of people don't even get on the forum anymore.

I would concentrate on smaller coves off the main lake or coves close to the mouth of major creeks. thumb

I am no expert, but I see them everywhere. When I see white shells on the shore, I start working out from the shore following the contours looking for the harder returns on my graph, or run a Squarebill or C-Rig through the area.
