Planning to be in the Lake Limestone area next weekend. Are there any Crappie guide recommendations?

No the crappie fishin is not that good now catfishin and sand bass is excellent .Darrell

Thanks Darrell,
I would have thought the pre spawn or spawn would be just about happening. Is Limestone different? What are the best months on limestone to target them?

I do some guiding on Limestone. Haven't been this year yet but I'll do some recon and see what's up. I did pretty good last year about this time.

I looked back at 10yrs of records end of April is spawn .Night time is the best .Lake does not have a great population of crappie.Not sayin you can't catch some but day end and day out very inconstant.No brush piles .Stick and move to catchem sometimes a limit most times not.Thats why there's no guides on this lake or Rc.Darrell

The best time to target crappie on Lake Limestone is July and August we normally catch limits during these months, we are catching catfish at the moment visit our website for more info www.jrodsguideservice.com

Heh, if DW ain't guiding you on limestone, don't go... He is the MAYOR and designated (by others) Crappie Master of Limestone for as long I have ever known Limestone was a lake...Just Saying...He has FORGOT more about Limestone than most folks will ever known...
