I have seen some saying they would like to see video of the dam at TB and I came across this on Youtube. Maybe someone has already posted but thought I would share anyway since it was a pretty cool video.

And here is where all that water went. Deweville is destroyed. Sad for those people. I wish SRA would have had a little more foresight instead of releasing a wall of water downstream.

I was kinda surprised they couldn't have released it a little slower.

They could have but Toledo gets any little bit over pool they want to dump the [censored] out of it. Plus home owners around the lake whine cause the water is in their boat sheds and yards. They say the dam cant handle the lake that full well if thats the case they shouldve built the thing to handle it especially when you build a 186 thousand acre lake its gonna need a serious dam.

I agree, this could have been handled a LOT better. They are to worried about their precious docks and [censored] instead of people's whole lives down stream. They cold have atleast let water go a day or 2 in advance then slowly let it out after the rain. It would be much better to fix a bunch of docks than flood thousands of homes and businesses. I just wonder if anybody in the uppers of control is going to look into how poorly it was handled. Another thought, and I know they have worked on it, how fragile is that dam? Do they know it's so bad but won't tell anybody down stream?

The video Jaret provided shows a really bad situation for those people down stream. Really sad to see this and definitely leads to questioning as to whether some of this could have been prevented with a better plan or execution.

Was hoping to drive over it last week, unfortunately the road was closed from the direction we were coming from. I heard you can feel the ground shaking as you drive over it.

It hit 2 1/2' high. They dropped it a full foot on Friday while we were on the water. Hard to imagine how much water was let out that day.
