Thinking about going to Palestine for the first time this weekend. Would y'all recommend Kickapoo, old folks, or flat creek. And what lures and techniques have been working? Thanks in advance

The north end is very muddy! I have been doing real well on the south end the past few days. Fish the outside weed edges with TX rigs. I've caught a lot of good fish on the live perch color thumber from finch nasty baits as well. PM me if you want further info.

Went today and stuck a few nice fish today pre fishing. It is muddy for sure. They were slow today. I had a 5.5# kicker fish and a nasty Bowfin also.
