 What time of year do people try to upgrade their boats?

Is there a certain time of year when you see a increase in people selling boats to upgrade? I would think it would be some time in the fall, but that could be way off.

It doesn't seem to be as pronounced anymore. They seem to buy and sell year round more evenly now.

I'd say now is the most active. I just sold and bought within the last month. It also seems that fall is active as well but you'll find many sellers getting out of boating completely and they don't want the storage cost. I'd say better deals are had in the fall because of this.
