Took the green crappie machine out for its first spin with my son Job and my father. This is one great boat! Royal makes an absolutely great boat for fishing! My father wanted to try Winnsboro, so away we went! We only managed 11 crappie, all males about 13" long. I hate to admit it, but my boy caught 8 of the crappie, my dad 2 and I finally got on the board about 15 minutes before we left the lake. While they were giving me a hard time, I reminded them to thank and tip their guide service!LOL All eight of the crappie my boy caught were on Thermocline Lures slab bug in Spring Grasshopper. My dad caught two on Strawberry seed Banana and one on Ice Shad (Mr. Fry). I caught my only one on Go to Greenie. The water looked like chocolate milk with a red tint. All of the fish were in less than a foot of water around the 515 bridge.

I like my fishing like a whino likes his wine!

My eyes got a little moist when the Green Crappie Machine left the premises the other day, then I remembered that your not too far that a visit can't be made and I know you'll take care of her!
Good luck buddy thumb

I've caught a few out of that boat. I have a cousin boat shopping and I keep telling him to check on the Royal. Way to break it in. Does your son do guide trips?:)

I'm loving that black tuxedo on that crappie your boy is holding! That white and chartreuse jig don't look too bad, either smile

I think that green machine attracts fish all by itself...no slab bugs or lil fry's needed roflmao

Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!
