Just to give a heads up to people, the Trinity is producing sand bass and hybrids when the release is lower. Sunday ended with 13 fish the smallest caught was 11 1/2 inches in 3 hours. Mcinnish Park Coppell. Best day yet! Pictures don't seem to be uploading from phone

1/8 oz rooster tail but they would have hit just about anything. Even the biggest one I caught, a 16 1/2 inch sandie, chased it down from a distance.

I wouldn't go right now. Sunday Grapevine and Lewisville spillways were almost closed and sow the flow was only from runoff. Now they are both releasing total 4000-5000 cfs which means a rushing river. I'd wait until it is lower again.

Ummm, Lake Lavon does not dump into this area. Lavon flows into the East Fork. The Elm Fork is crazy full. I work right here by it and they keep sending out warnings of possible flooding around us from the amount of water being released.
