I made the mistake of buying a unit without doing my homework. I assumed it would be compatible with my lss-1. Now to my understanding it's not. I'll have to buy the lss-2 and transducer? If anyone wouldn't mind shedding some light on the subject I would appreciate it. What is or isn't compatible? Any positive feedback would be appreciated. I know it's my fault, so I can do without harsh feedback. Thank you

LLS 1 will work but You'll need the lss2 transducer for better range and picture

Whom ever it was that told you that the lss1 was NOT compatible is the idiot and they deserve the harsh criticism. It will work just fine, they are 100% compatible with each other.

You will need a LSS module and it can be either the lss1 module or the lss2 module, it does not matter. If this new graph is a Touch model then you do not need the module.

bang what the hell. Where do you people get this stuff?

I have a lss1 hooked up to a HDS 12, if anything wasn't compatible this would be one of them.

A employee from Bass Pro said that it wouldn't. I got a good deal on it. But to spend that and then have to spend another $600.00. OUCH

The lss2 will give more distance, maybe 10' but as far as clarity... That one is debatable.
