I fished this place for the first time today with a few buddies. We put in at the low water crossing on CR 258. The water was super clear and shallow. We had to drag the kayaks a little ways downstream to get them into deeper water. We paddled about a mile down to a big bend in the river. Not much in the way of fish. Caught a few small black bass, but didn't catch any Whites or see any being caught. Talked to a few people who fish there on a regular basis and they haven't started catching Whites there yet. It was a nice paddle although there's not much protection from the wind out there.

I would think with the recent rain this place might be worth another try. There is plenty of flowing water at the low water crossing to attract spawning White Bass. Not sure about the overall quality of the White Bass fishery in Lake Georgetown though. I know in Lake Granger the fish tend to run pretty small.
