Can anyone give me some information on the water level of Rayburn?

It's 4.43 foot high. Go to USGS.GOV from there it's kinda a trick to get to the lake levels but it has the current water level of almost every lake in Texas. It updates everyday. It's a great web site to save if you fish several lakes across the state, especially since we are coming out of a long drought and getting rain like we have used to.

The North end is pretty muddy, but it is still fishable.

Have a buddy fishing Rayburn Park (near Powell Park) as I type. Water is up 4.5 feet so the fish are in some deep cover. He has caught about a dozen three pounders today and a handful of channel cats.
He is on the shore and laughing at a guy in a boat because the boats can't get to where the fish are.

Go to lakelevels.info you can get any lake level you want. It cover all of the south east US.
