I thought everyone might like to see a picture of a pending Florida crappie weighing at 4.5 lbs. (Authenticity is being questioned), but is awaiting official weight from Florida State Officials. Beautiful fish and the girth and length are monstrous: The question is whether it is really a state record fish which surrounds all fish like this-good to see a monster crappie irregardless: http://www.crappie.com/crappie/main-crappie-fishing-forum/327823-florida-record/

Crappie Masters shared the picture on social media saying it was from Lexington, MO:  Stinkin' internet makes it hard to know where big game of any kind come from (see all the rattlesnake, hog, deer, etc. pictures that rumor around the web). Great fish regardless of its native waters!

Regardless where it came form that is a HOG! Nice fish.
