 Charger Boats to bring back Champion 210 Elite

Reading around in BBC and seen that Charger is suppose to be bringing back the Champion 210 Elite. Anyone else heard anything on this? http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=680024

BPS owns the Champion hull designs. I thought they incorporated the Champion design into the Stratos line. From the BBC thread. Take it with a grain of salt Charger does not destroy their molds so they will be around. As far as the 210 goes Charger made a brilliant move from my understanding and bought the design blueprint rights from BPS. So the can now make the exact same Champion hull with the same high quality ride. The only modification would be to lighten it up so that it can get some better performance and speed which I think everyone would like.

Hopefully Champion fans buy and support the effort. When Stratos did it a lot refused to buy them because they had the Stratos logo on them.

Charger has a great opportunity here and I hope they dont screw it up and if they do it right I hope they get the support they deserve. I still cant believe that one of the best selling brands of all time is even in this position...poor owners and management let it happen. Go Charger get it done!!!

Hull was the same but as a stratos they changed alot of stuff on the deck and inside the cockpit, had it been exactly the same as the previous year champs I think the brand would have suceeded under the stratos label. It seem to be designed to fail by platinum equity or whomever bought that group of boat brands back them. I hope to see charger have success with this, champs were rock solid boats.

Been running Chargers since 92, running the 596 now and it's a beast, fantastic in rough water. Charger makes a fine product, they'll do a fine job with the 210.
