Headed to Choke Canyon next Sat and Sun with my grandson. Any info? Staying at State Park. I do have boat.

I was there a couple of weeks ago at a tournament, most of the action was in the four finger areas by the dam..

I went yesterday and fished pretty hard. Threw everything except the kitchen sink and I caught one 3-4 pounder. Then I threw the kitchen sink too and still didn't catch anything else. Pretty tough fishing for bass right now, maybe the catfishing or crappie is better.
Put this gps coord in your graph (if you have GPS) and mark it as a hazard wypt. It's a concrete tower that will sink your boat faster than you'd care to see. This is not to the exact foot, but it's within 50'.
