Anyone go out there this weekend? I'm going to take my son and his buddy up there tomorrow. Don't want to waste a day if it's muddied up all over.

I fished Sand Branch and Airplane yesterday from 7:30 t about 11:00 , when I headed in due to the wind. No takers on jig, swim bait, crank bait. I couldn't find any shallow fish, most seemed to be on creek edges (on side view sonar) in 8-15 feet of water.
Water I fished was muddy with less than a foot of visibility.
Ride back from Airplane to Jordan was a trip in that wind- 3-4 foot rollers !

I'm heading up there in the morning, hope it fishes better.

Fished Sand yesterday as well, tough! Caught a few on shaky head/Brush Hog (Small) and lost a decent one on a square bill. Dad fished it the day before and caught 8-10 with a couple keepers. Been sitting on an ice pack all day from the boat ride back, wind was crazy!

Old Ray Bob can get a little rough in the wind. I was out last week and we had a tough go of it. only managed 1 keeper on a crank bait. Tried flipping shallow spawning areas with no luck. I think it is almost go time though.

Be pretty busy this wedekend with the High School being there. They have been drawing about 180 boats.

Yea I'm not planning on venturing any further than sand tomorrow. The wind isn't suppose to be too bad but 15mph winds on that lake is enough.

I like Buck Creek when it is blowing hard but I think it will be muddy for a while.
