Hi guys,

I recently added a Helix 9 to the consol. I kept the same SI/DI HD transducer on the back of the boat that I used for my 898 and out of the box it worked great. I also never had a problem with the picture on the 898. Now I've noticed that I'm getting interference on my Helix. It's not motor interference and it only happens when I'm scanning water deeper than 18 feet deep. It looks like a bunch of noise on the graph. I've also noticed that I can't see the same detail as I can on DI on the Helix that I could on the 898. For instance, when scanning brush or a bridge column, it's not showing the fish easily. Anyone have any suggestions? I've played with the contrast, sensitivity, etc. I've also switched between the 455 and the 800 hertz and the 800 hertz causes more "clutter" than the 455.
