Years ago my dad told me he used to wade out to catch crappie and they would bite in a 360 degree circle this time of year. They had to be thick, but he also said Tawakoni had more snakes than any other lake.

That's good news, now I wish my dad's boat was working. My 2 man won't get me to my favorite spring crappie cove on Tawakoni.
