Anyone have any experience with these reels? I've seen several on E-bay.

From what I understand it is basically a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) version of the Curado I. Just in a red/maroon color and of course-made in Japan.
I'm just getting into JDM Shimanos mainly because my favorite reel is a green Japanese Curado.
I also found a Japanese version of Amazon - samurai buyers club...where you can get JDM reels for a bit cheaper than eBay. I'm looking for a Metanium myself.

JDM model reels are pretty neat been looking to get into some Daiwa JDM myself. Just remember though if you ever need parts for them you will have to find a Japanese source. So servicing the reels can be a bit tough.

The Scorpion Antares I have been looking at are silver and look, in some ways, like a Calais.
