Curious to know. Conditions were prime before the new water.

I have to admit I was worried about the fishing with all of the rain and high water. It turned out there was no need to worry, the fishing was excellent with all of the teams (10) catching lots of Stripers. I know my boat probably caught 30 - 40 keeper Stripers with most being in the 5 pound range and largest being a little over six.

Youth Angler winner was Grayson of Team Epic Reaper. It is also important to note that Grayson also caught the new Lake Whitney Junior Angler record Striper weighing in a 4.10 pounder!

1st Place was Team Striper Sniper weighing in 33.74 pounds

2nd Place was Team Sic Em weighing in 32.82 pounds and also the Big Fish of 11.34 pounds

3rd place was Team Epic Reaper weighing in 26.99 pounds

The Stripers were caught all over the lake

I will get the website updated in the next couple of days with the pictures. The tournament was a lot of fun and the weather was great, overcast all day and no rain!

George
