Looking for a set of digital scales that have the lip grip on them that will hold the fish well while you weigh them. Was thinking about the Brecknell scales with the added grip like they use on M L F. But there reviews were not real good. just wondering what you guys use. Thanks in advance.

I think you can add the grips to any scales and you are right the reviews for that scale are bad, especially if raining

I recently bought a rapala digital scale with grip and wish I hadnt wasted my money. The scale is not accurate at all. And, its not consistantly inaccurate where I could figure out the weight. Junk.

I have the Berkley digital and they seem to be pretty close ( within a couple ounces) on the things I have tested.

mine was pretty good. Except I got into some rough rough water one day and turned my boat into a hot tub. The scale wasn't water proof.

they say if you get a drop of water in the top the board will go bad and they cannot fix it.

This thing is where it's at. Lip grips are beyond overrated.

All you need is a check it stick, an EGO tournament culling beam, accucull in the livewell, floating berley tournament culling handle, and this scale, and you will never have to doubt bragging rights or bringing the right fish to weigh in.

I believe you can get boga grips certified...they're 100+ dollars though. That could be incorrect, but its' "what ive heard".
