Here on Lake Fork  The fish didn't seem to care!!!!  Hickory Nut & I got started yesterday around 8:30am and the fishing was slow. Caught 7 out of the spot Red Snappa & I did well at last Sunday Here's one HN caught  And one I caught  It really got slow once the rain came thru, but once the sun broke thru the clouds, we moved about 4-500 yds to another spot and it was GAME ON!We raped that area and moved to another spot that was good last year. Sure enough, it didn't take much searching to find some more  Ended up with 37, only 1 was a female. All but 1 caught under a slip cork on Night Prowler Glo, Spring Grasshopper & Go-To Greenie ....... I've become a BIG fan of using something with green in it during the spring

And the eggs in the female? Looks like a tail gate full of crappie to me... The one female was an eleven inch black crappie. They are getting close. Cleaned two females That I caught today in thirteen foot of water and they both were well developed. One thing I noticed was the tails aren't torn up yet on the males.
