IF so, Im about to bust it.

Have been tearing them up at the Tawakoni spillway the last few days! Mainly they are hitting a white or pearl fluke or a 4" gloww sassy shad below a float, reeled pretty fast. When they take the bait, dont set the hook, just reel.
Got my 15 yo out there and she caught her biggest freshwater fish ever, several times, lol. She caught the three biggest fish on the stringer!

No secret. Tawakoni has grown to be a striper lake that rivals Texoma for top spot.

The other picture of my daughter and I didnt show up I guess. We brought home 10 that day and probably threw back 3 or 4 that was just barely under 18. The biggest was a striper that was 6 lbs and several hybrids in the 5 lbs range. She had a blast catching them. Was buying packaging striper filets and butchering rabbits today but probably going to be back over at the spillway tomorrow and try to bring 5 more home.

How much company did you have the next time out... Great post and pics...

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Counted 33 cars yesterday, watched the madness for 10 mins and didn't see anyone catch one. Did see a guy with some on a stringer

lol, there are no secrets for dam fishing.

Step 1. Google maps to find lakes.
Step 2. Check CoE sites for release info.

Some don't do their homework and just wait for reports
