Don't forget what's coming out of Aquilla. It's filling into Whitney as well.

I'm on other forums that deal with the old turbo powered Buicks.;)

on going thing there, caught 9 bass and got into giant school of sandies near the Katy bridge last monday, sandies were in 25ft of water and loaded with eggs, my guess is between drought and corp of engineers the sand bass have lost their way and forgot to run up the river.

Built for a holding lake. They can not let PK or Grandbury come up at all , just flood Whitney. What a shame for all the Marinas , and people depending on a living there. Sucks !!! Just after all the money spent after last years tornado , and 2 floods. Oh well you can't fight the corp. They could care less

I fished the main lake ledges every time I have been up there with my family. Always limited out chunking ghost shad colored lipless crank baits with feathered rear trebles. Caught a few stripers, too. We always have fun up there

Gates are open at whitney now. I'm headed that way shortly to work on the house and can see what our ramp looks like... The road usually stays out of the water until about 4' over and then we are hosed.

Neighbor at the lake house just said that the water is up to the parking lot @ Juniper Cove. Check our slip @ Harbor Master and everything is OK. Starting to catch crappie
